We have exciting news this month at Cordiner Wealth as we’re looking to hire a new Associate Financial Planner to join our busy team.

Who we’re looking for

You will have several years of financial planning experience, either as an adviser or a paraplanner. Ideally, you’ll also be Chartered or working towards Chartered status.

You’ll be competent with cashflow forecasting, as well as other technical aspects of client work such as pensions and investments.

As you’ll be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, you need to be someone who loves working and interacting with people.

You’ll also have strong communication skills and be a willing team player, looking to play an active part in the business’s continued expansion.

What you’ll be doing

As an Associate Financial Planner, your main role will be to assist the MD by taking over some of his existing clients, as well as looking after new clients who come to us.

You’ll be responsible for preparing agendas and attending meetings, providing compliant and friendly advice, and producing minutes of those meetings.

You’ll thoroughly get to know our clients, developing in-depth knowledge of their personalities, aims, objectives, and financial situations.

This will initially be an office-based role, with the opportunity for homeworking after you’ve settled into the business.
